The B Family had initially set up one big family session for the grandparents and cousins and then called to add on another session for just their family.  They really wanted some images of just them being . . .well, themselves.   They wanted a more photojournalist/lifestyle feel to their session and I love shooting that kind of stuff!

We started out at their beach house and then heading out to the Ocean City boardwalk.  There is so much love in their family and I had a blast hanging out with them.  :)

Mom kept telling me how she hates how she looks in pictures and I hope this one changes her mind.

Just some ideas :)

I met up with the L Family a few weeks ago and we did some pictures in their beautiful home and then headed out to a great outdoor location.

This past weekend, Carina of Remember This Day and I hosted a breakfast with Santa for our clients.  We had a great turnout and I hope everyone had as nice of a time as we did!  It was a little hard playing “host” and “photographer”, but I did manage to grab a few shots from the event.

and my own daughter, Molly, who had no idea that Santa was actually her beloved Grampy.  CJ wouldn’t go near him.

Thanks again to everyone that came out!  Carina and I are already talking about making this an annual tradition.  :)

I arrived a little early for this session, so I left my camera in the car and walked around the gardens a bit.  I did have my phone on me and since I hadn’t had a chance to take many pics with it, I decided to test it out on a couple locations I had in mind for my session.  It was fun to go back and compare.

I met up with this super fun family on a chilly morning in Odessa.  Little brother was too cold to give me many smiles, but big brother was quite the poser!  I loved how well he followed directions.  I know mom has been anxiously awaiting this long-overdue sneak peek.  But, lucky for her, her gallery will be ready in another day or so! :)

The first weekend of mini sessions went so well, I ended up adding another morning of them!  It was sunny, but very chilly!  Thanks for everyone for coming out!

The C Family

October 30, 2010

What a great idea to get your whole family together for a big family photo? And they all coordinated so well. :)

The littlest grandson was such a trooper!  They had been in the car a while when they got there, so I was expecting him to be a bit cranky, but this was literally the very first solo shot of him!

and the two older grandsons who were such good sports.

and my favorite — the two that started it all.  :)

We really lucked out this year weather-wise for mini sessions.  Last year, we had to reschedule several times due to rain.  But Sunday was PERFECT!  Thanks for coming out! :)

We had to change our location for Saturday’s mini sessions, but it worked out perfectly since we had the most perfect location for gorgeous fall photos!  delaware child and family photographer, old new castle
