Kim & Brian : Engaged! [Media, PA Wedding Photographer]

After shooting a wedding the day before, I woke up bright and early to meet up with Kim and Brian for their engagement session.  It was a gorgeous day and we headed to Ridley Creek State Park.

I think this one is my favorite.

Then we headed back to their house where Brian has built an amazing waterfall in their back yard.  Of course, we had to get their two cute pups in the act too.

It was great meeting you guys!  Can’t wait till your wedding! 🙂

Mike & Kathy : Married! [Doylestown, PA Wedding Photographer]

I had been looking forward to Mike and Kathy’s wedding ever since we met up for their engagement session a few months ago.  They are such a loving couple and truly some of the nicest people you could possibly meet.

Kathy got ready at the Doylestown Inn and we got some great shots there.

I love the look on Kathy’s face as she emerges from the bathroom in all her wedded glory.

Kathy’s mom was trying so hard not to cry.

The ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous Mercer Museum.

Catering was by Memorable Affairs and it was so yummy!

And look at this!  I even got my own place card.  🙂    I love it when couples do this because it means I’m guaranteed a place to sit during dinner and more importantly, it guarantees that I will be served when the guests.  Usually I am served last and by the time my meal comes, the bride and groom are finished and ready to dance.  So I only get to scarf down a few bites and I’ve got to get back to work!  So, thanks a million, Kathy & Mike.

The cake not only looked delicious, but it tasted great too.  I love the looks on their faces.  The catering manager told me that it was the first time she’d ever seen a couple eat the entire piece of cake they cut.

Onto the dancing!

Thanks again guys.  I wish you all the best of luck with your move to Maryland!

My Belated Announcement

So I just realized this weekend that I never made a formal announcement on my blog about this, but I’m PREGNANT!  Feels weird announcing it now since I’m already 33 weeks pregnant, but I am.  🙂

We’re having a little boy this time around and Molly understands about as much as can be expected of a 22 month old.   She is very excited about babies and loves to get all the babies clothes out and carry them around.

My wonderful husband took me to Innerview Ultrasound to get a 3d/4d ultrasound done and it was soooooo neat!  Here is one of the images from baby boy’s first portrait session.

What does this mean for you?  Well, I’m photographing my last wedding next weekend (can’t wait Laura & Dan!) and then I’m done with weddings until October.  I will still be accepting a limited number of portrait sessions through the month of August though.

And since I can’t show favoritism, I’ll also post a picture of Molly from the 4th of July.

Missy and Chris [Rehoboth Beach, Delaware Wedding Photographer]

I was a little nervous on Saturday as I drove into Rehoboth Beach and noticed the clouds getting darker and darker.  But the storm quickly blew over in time for Missy and Chris’s beautiful outdoor ceremony at King’s Creek Country Club.
