First Day of School [Delaware Portrait Photographer]

My baby started preschool today and I’m happy to report that although I did get a teary-eyed, not a single tear actually dropped from my eyes.  Molly did much better than I did — a little nervousness when she walked into the classroom, but her teacher said she had a great first day!  I’m so proud of her.

Running ahead of Daddy.

As a former preschool teacher, I know important a quick get-away can be, so my husband and I said our goodbyes and headed out the door.  I did snag one picture of her through the door though — I love how she’s grabbing onto her dress (a little nervous habit she has).

My Niece [Delaware Newborn Photographer]

Have you ever seen a prettier newborn?  This little darling was a dream to photograph!  So sleepy and barely pooped or peed on anything!  🙂

Nakia - She is so adorable, I just can’t stand it! 🙂 I love her little smile in the second photo.

Beth Jennings - These are beautiful Erin, what lens are you using for the little cherub? such expression and yet the eyes are closed!

Erin - Thanks guys!
Beth- I used my 105/2.8 for the last one and my 24-70 for all the rest.

The Y Family [Delaware Portrait Photographer]

I met up with this gorgeous family Sunday morning for a session and we finished just in time – – – the rain started on the drive home. 🙂

I have to give much kudos to the family for their outfit selections.  It really shows that you don’t all have to be dressed the same to look like a cohesive family unit.  In fact, I think it looks better when everyone is dressed differently.

Allison & Sean :: Mendenhall Inn Wedding [Delaware wedding photographer]

Allison and Sean had amazing weather for their wedding day!  After a long streak of crazy hot Saturdays, we finally got a gorgeous one!  Allison was a gorgeous bride!  She is a bit on the reserved side and there were times you could tell she just didn’t feel that comfortable being the center of attention . . . but when her and Sean were together . . . .she was all smiles and nothing else in the world mattered.

Congratulations you guys!  Have a wonderful honeymoon!
