This is old news by now but I finally remembered to bring home the copy my Mom was saving for me (hence the slightly crumbled appearance – lol). But I was thrilled to hear that the readers of the Dover Post, Smyrna/Clayton Sun Times and the Middletown Transcript voted for me as ‘New Castle County’s Favorite Photographer’. Pretty cool!! 🙂

It had been a long winter without shooting any weddings and I was thrilled to get back to work. And Lindsey and Brian were just the couple to kick start my 2012 wedding season! Such gorgeous weather for their beautiful wedding at Hagley Museum. Big thanks to Gail Montgomery for second shooting with me. Several of the images shown here are hers. 🙂

Erin, you did an incredible job capturing so many beautiful moments of this incredibly adorable couple’s GORGEOUS day! The Hagley Library and Soda House was a picture perfect venue for this intimate wedding and, Erin, you knew exactly how to get the best possible wedding photographs at one of Deleware’s finest ceremony and reception locations! Hard to believe it’s been two years since I burst into the hospital room 30 seconds before this little dude entered the world. He is SUCH a cutie and mom always has such great ideas for his sessions!

This month’s theme in my “blog circle” was anticipation. Last weekend, I headed down to the Outer Banks with my family for my cousin’s wedding. We stayed a few extra days and spend one afternoon visiting Ocracoke Island. The beach was fantastic there – totally perfect for little guys. My kids had a blast jumping over the waves. As I was snapping away, I realized that this would be a perfect opportunity to capture the ‘anticipation’ of the waves.
