Katelyn and Cameron had a perfect fall day for their wedding.  Everything looked amazing and I was so happy to be a part of their special day.  I loved the red doors on the church and all the old crosses above her dress.

Then it was off to the Kitty Knight House for the reception.  Wildflowers by Alicia did a fantastic job on the flowers and centerpieces!

Congratulations you two!  Hope you have a wonderful and happy life together. :)

I had been really looking forward to Erin and Ryan’s wedding at Winterthur Gardens.  First of all, it’s where I really wanted to have our wedding, but it just didn’t work out.  And secondly, it’s where my husband and I take our kids all the time.  It’s a gorgeous place and I definitely encourage anyone in the area to check it out!

Anyway, onto the pictures!

Did you know that a pair of spoons work great to get rid of under-eye puffiness?

Erin and Ryan opted to see each other before the ceremony so we had more time for pictures.  I love how excited Ryan is!

Cocktail hour around the reflecting pool.  For you photographers out there, this was taken at twilight and my settings were:  2.8   1/125  ISO 25,600.  Yes, that is 25,600!!

Clarissa planned a lot of her sister’s fabulous wedding last summer, so I knew her own wedding was going to be gorgeous!  (Plus I follow her on pinterest and saw all the adorable things she was pinning).  I even made sure to bring along a second shooter, Erin, from Charms of Life Photography, to help capture all the little details.  The ceremony and reception was held at the Kent Manor Inn, in Kent Manor, Maryland.  It is a gorgeous location!

I hope I don’t crash your browser.  I have a TON of images to share!

They opted to do a first look, which I think is a FABULOUS idea!  It allows for another fun, exciting part of your day.

Not to mention, doing a first look allows for lots of time for pictures (before you get a chance to cry all your make-up off during the ceremony)

I loved the adorable little pinwheel name cards hanging from the big tree.

Casey and Matt have such a quiet comfortableness about them.  They truly make a wonderful couple, so it was no surprise that their wedding was full of wonderful people as well.  The Kent Manor Inn looked amazing.

Colorful.  That’s exactly what Casey and Bryce’s wedding was.  From the decor to the guests, everything about their wedding was vibrant and colorful.  The ceremony and reception were held at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore and is definitely the unique venue I’ve shot at.  It’s unlike any museum I’ve ever seen.  I mean, do you see that giant pink fluffy poodle behind them?? A huge thanks to my second shooter, Erin, for the day . . several of her shots are below.

Anyway, I have a TON of photos to share, so let’s get started, shall we?  :)

Her bouquet was made entirely of brooches.  It was gorgeous (and heavy)!

While the girls got ready, the guys hung out at the pool.

So many great details at the reception.

And tons and TONS of dancing!

I have been looking forward to Andrew & Melissa’s wedding ever since their engagement session in Cape May last year.  They are both such genuinely nice people and so fun to hang out with.  Their wedding was absolutely perfect . . . in part because of the excellent wedding vendors they hired.  Hanna, of Beke Beau, did their make-up and seriously came along for the majority of the day, touching up the girls’ make up.  Their wedding coordinator, Colleen Walther, kept everything running smoothly.  And I can’t wait to see their wedding video by Tangerine Media Group!

The reception was at the Union League and it looked spectacular!

The band, Chico’s Vibe, had everyone up and dancing all night long!

If you “like” Erin Farrell Photography on facebook, you’ve already seen this, but I promise I will be blogging more images from this wedding soon!

I know there are a lot of people anxiously awaiting a blog post, so I won’t waste time with words and I’ll go straight to the pictures:

Erin & Greg opted to see each other before the ceremony which not only was a great moment added to the day, but it also left us tons of time for pictures and then they got to enjoy their whole reception.

We made a stop at Deer Park Tavern so the bridal party could do a shot and then it was off to the reception at Clayton Hall.

Grandfathers dancing with their granddaughters — so sweet :)

Mike and Barbara were married on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon in the middle of a beautiful garden.

I love this one because you can see both of Barbara’s daughters.

You seriously could not have asked for a more perfect day to get married than the one Amber and David got for their wedding.  I got a chance to really get to know this couple last fall at their engagement session and I was really excited for their wedding.   The ceremony was at the beautiful Baywood Greens.

Tears started flowing when she read a sweet note from David.

Then it was David’s turn for tears when he saw his beautiful bride coming down the aisle.

The reading was so beautiful that I really wanted to share it with you.  It’s called “Why Marriage” by Mari Nichols-Haining

Because to the depths of me, I long to love one person,
With all my heart, my soul, my mind, my body…

Because I need a forever friend to trust with the intimacies of me,
Who won’t hold them against me,
Who loves me when I’m unlikable,
Who sees the small child in me, and
Who looks for the divine potential of me…

Because I need to cuddle in the warmth of the night
With someone who thanks God for me,
With someone I feel blessed to hold…

Because marriage means opportunity
To grow in love in friendship…

Because marriage is a discipline
To be added to a list of achievements…

Because marriages do not fail, people fail
When they enter into marriage
Expecting another to make them whole…

Because, knowing this,
I promise myself to take full responsibility
For my spiritual, mental and physical wholeness
I create me,
I take half of the responsibility for my marriage
Together we create our marriage…

Because with this understanding
The possibilities are limitless.

Then it was off to Pot Nets Lakeside Community Center for the reception!
