Leif and Casey are excellent photographers, so I was super humbled and excited when they asked me to photograph them for their third anniversary. They have this awesome tradition of getting anniversary photos done by different photographers each year. Besides being great photographers, they are incredibly cute and so nice! I had a great time getting to know them. :)

June 29, 2011Phil & Chris {Delaware Wedding Photographer}
June 6, 2011Chris and I go way back. Like, seriously WAAAAYYYYY back. I found this picture of us hanging out in a playpen in our diapers (I’m in the back):
Our dads went to high school together and the group of their friends would plan camping trips every year. I’m pretty sure it was during a trip to Hershey Park that we became friends and started writing to each other.
We lost touch at some point and recently found each other via facebook. I was so excited when she got engaged and asked me to photograph her wedding! I met up with her and fiance, Phil, in Annapolis for their engagement session and dinner. :)
Erin & Greg {Delaware Wedding Photographer}
May 9, 2011
This year, over half of the weddings I will be photographing have ties to my alma matter of Middletown High School. Erin transferred to another high school, but she did spend most of her school years in the Appoquinimink School District. I met up with her and Greg and Erin’s daughter, Andrea, on a beautiful spring evening.
Katelyn and Cameron {Delaware Wedding Photographer}
March 23, 2011Katelyn isin the Air Force and just found out she was going to be gone for two months, so we quickly scheduled an engagement session. It was scheduled for a Monday, but I was checking the forecast on Thursday and Friday was supposed to be gorgeous, so I quickly contacted Katelyn and we changed it for the next day! Her and Cameron were so fun to work with . . . I’m really looking forward to their wedding this fall!

February 28, 2011Matt and Jillian :: ENGAGED! [Delaware Wedding Photographer]
November 4, 2010Now that my 2010 wedding season is over, I’m really looking forward to 2011! I have some AMAZING couples for next year and I am so excited for all their weddings!
Take Matt and Jillian . . . not only are they a super sweet, fun couple, but they’re gorgeous to boot! Can you just picture how amazing Jillian is going to look in a wedding gown?
Clarissa & Ryan [Delaware Wedding Photographer]
September 29, 2010I met Clarissa at her sister’s wedding this past June and was thrilled to hear she was engaged! She was the one responsible for so many of the great details in her sisters wedding. We met up at Winterthur early Sunday morning and were miraculously able to finish our session before the rain came. Well, actually, the last fifteen or twenty minutes were actually in the rain. But between the big trees that kept some of the rain off us and the fact that these two did not complain once . . .we were able to get some great images!
Wow, I just realized how many kissing photos I posted. :)
Amber & David :: Baywood Engagement [Delaware Wedding Photographer]
September 17, 2010This weather has been amazing! I love ending a session not drenched in sweat. :)
Amber and David were so fun to get to know. We headed to Baywood (where I also got married) and drove all around in the golf carts. We sky was absolutely gorgeous . . . and so was Amber. I thought she looked a lot like Jasmine Star in this picture.
It was great meeting you guys! Looking forward to your wedding!
[Delaware Wedding and Portrait Photographer] :: Amy & George
September 9, 2010I had such a nice time catching up with Amy and George the other night for their engagement session! Amy and I were friends in middle school and I think my most vivid memory of her is riding the bus after intramural volleyball. Mrs. Mannering was our no-nonense bus driver and we were only allowed to talk to the person directly across from us and we were most DEFINITELY not allowed to eat anything. Well . . . Amy and I, being super cool middle schoolers (insert sarcasm), got great fun out of disobeying those rules. We’d talk to each other over the seats (*gasp*) and the part I remember most . . . . eating toothpaste simply because it was the only “food” we had and we wanted to break the rules that bad. What were we thinking?!?!? lol
But now she’s getting ready to marry a super nice guy and I’m so glad I was at least able to shoot their engagement pictures.
I’ve known Casey since she was oh, about five years old maybe? We grew up on the same street and I have to admit, the fact that she’s getting married makes me feel a little old. However, I am SO SO SO excited that she contacted me to photograph her wedding next year! I ran into Casey’s mom the other day and she said that Casey’s been stalking the blog waiting for them. I’m getting this up much later than I told them I would so I’m putting a few extra sneak peeks in there for them. :)
