I was so glad to meet up with my friend, Andrea, and her gorgeous family for their annual portrait sessions!  These girls just get prettier and prettier each year.

This lovely family was the winner of my facebook contest a while back.  And I’d be willing to bet that the phrase “well, at least we didn’t have to pay for it” got mentioned in some form on the drive home.  ;)     Baby B did NOT want to smile — at all.  I don’t think I’ve ever met an 8 month old baby who wouldn’t smile for me.  And little C . . . well, he had his own agenda and it didn’t involve me or anything I was trying to talk to him about.  Thank goodness for big brother, A!  He’s just an all-around great kid.   I photographed Mom and Dad’s wedding three years ago and I love seeing how much their family has grown.  Andrew was born when they were only sixteen years old and it is a beautiful to see that they are still together and are such awesome parents.  :)

Rest assured, you guys, I did get some great shots! :)

I am SOOOOO far behind on blog posts!  My computer was at the doctor’s for most of the last week and to say I was lost without it is an understatement.  (Although, I have to admit, even though I didn’t get any editing done, I am a MUCH better mother and cleaner without the computer around).  But it’s back now, so here is two quick ones from my session last weekend.  These two little darlings are cousins, but could totally pass for twins!  You might recognize little K from her baby sister’s newborn session a couple of weeks ago or from her two year old session or from any of the other numerous times I photographed her during the first year of her life.  I love being able to document a family growing over the years.  And little Miss K and I are totally best buds now. :)

This time it was my turn to photograph the lovely Beira’s family.  I was so excited to meet her son – I’ve seen so many pictures of those big blue eyes and gorgeous smile!  The weather was perfect and we found some really neat little places to shoot in.  Of course, we were only about five minutes into the session when Micah took a tumble.

But after a little cuddling from Mom (and some fruit snacks), he was good as new.  Besides some images of the whole family, Beira also wanted some shots of her and Micah.  These are my favorite types of shots — you can practically hear the laughter and feel the love between these two.

What a pleasure it was meeting the newest member of the ‘S’ Family.  Little Miss Aly was the tiniest little thing – just under 6 pounds at three weeks!  She came a bit early (brave Momma even drove herself to the hospital!), so she did spend some time in the NICU, but she is doing great now.  :)

I headed down to the beach Saturday evening to meet up with this super cute family just before sunset.  Little Miss E will be two soon and she absolutely adorable (and smart as a whip)!

I love the ponytail shadow.

Little Miss E just gets funnier and cuter each time I see her!  She has the most adorable little voice ever.  It was so good to see this family again.  I think it’s been over three years that I’ve been photographing their family – starting with mom and dad’s engagement pictures.  We even recreated one of my favorite shots — it’s been so long I don’t even have it on my computer anymore, but it was the two of them sitting on a bench overlooking the pond with a beautiful blue sky.  The bench was no longer there, but there was a beautiful blue sky.

These two beautiful sisters will be celebrating birthdays in a few weeks, so Mom wanted to get some photos taken.  Little Sister ‘M’ is turning one and she wanted to do was MOVE!  Big Sister ‘G’ is turning three and like most toddlers, she pretty much only wanted to do what SHE wanted to do.  It was tough, especially trying to get them looking and smiling at the camera together, but I ended up with so many cute ones, I couldn’t narrow it down to just 4 or 5 for the sneak peek — instead I have 8!

And since it’s Mother’s Day, here’s one more that just makes my heart melt.

This gorgeous little girl certainly gave me a run for my money!  But we still got some great shots.

I love this one of her carrying her precious elephant.

I met up with this lovely family earlier this week and was blown away by their kids’ eyelashes.  They are AMAZING!  They were so incredibly well behaved and you could most definitely feel the love in this family.
