Can I just say, once again, how much I love my job? I got to spend all day Saturday and Sunday out in the beautiful weather with these amazing families. Seriously, I had nine sessions each day and I thought I would be exhausted by the end, but I really wasn’t. It was so nice to see everyone come out (and their outfit selections were perfect!)

October 25, 2011Baby #3
October 24, 2011Yup! I’m pregnant again. :) Baby #3 is due in mid-April and we couldn’t be more excited!
What does this mean for Erin Farrell Photography? Well, just that I won’t be taking any weddings or portraits for the month of April or May. I will be starting up weddings again in June and a limited number of portrait sessions. By July, I will be back in full swing. :)

October 19, 2011While I was in the Poconos, I took some time to photograph one of my favorite families
Funny story – - I had been eyeing up this gorgeous field next to this old, abandoned barn, so we stopped there for a couple shots. We weren’t out there for two seconds, when an old man across the street came hobbling out of his house and started yelling at us to get off his property (oops!). I apologized and told him we had just stopped to take a few pictures, but that we would leave if it wasn’t okay with him. He mumbled that it was okay, so we attempted to keep shooting. But it was just too awkward with him watching us, so we quickly gave up. As we were walking back to the cars, he yells “Make sure you wash your legs off, you were standing in a bunch of poison ivy!” Nice.
Erin & Ryan {Winterthur Delaware Wedding Photographer}
October 14, 2011I had been really looking forward to Erin and Ryan’s wedding at Winterthur Gardens. First of all, it’s where I really wanted to have our wedding, but it just didn’t work out. And secondly, it’s where my husband and I take our kids all the time. It’s a gorgeous place and I definitely encourage anyone in the area to check it out!
Anyway, onto the pictures!
Did you know that a pair of spoons work great to get rid of under-eye puffiness?
Erin and Ryan opted to see each other before the ceremony so we had more time for pictures. I love how excited Ryan is!

Cocktail hour around the reflecting pool. For you photographers out there, this was taken at twilight and my settings were: 2.8 1/125 ISO 25,600. Yes, that is 25,600!!
