Just a quick one from yesterday’s wedding.

From the first click of my camera to the last, this family was perfect!  I got so many great shots, I had a hard time narrowing it down.

And just when I think she can’t get any cuter, she hugs on her special friend.  So much love!

It seems like just yesterday I was shooting this couple’s wedding and now they have a newborn baby girl.

Colorful.  That’s exactly what Casey and Bryce’s wedding was.  From the decor to the guests, everything about their wedding was vibrant and colorful.  The ceremony and reception were held at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore and is definitely the unique venue I’ve shot at.  It’s unlike any museum I’ve ever seen.  I mean, do you see that giant pink fluffy poodle behind them?? A huge thanks to my second shooter, Erin, for the day . . several of her shots are below.

Anyway, I have a TON of photos to share, so let’s get started, shall we?  :)

Her bouquet was made entirely of brooches.  It was gorgeous (and heavy)!

While the girls got ready, the guys hung out at the pool.

So many great details at the reception.

And tons and TONS of dancing!

I had so much fun with this family – - – finding pretty locations, playing kickball, making ice cream cones. :)

A Parent’s Prayer

July 18, 2011

I saw this prayer on a friend’s blog today and it really hit home for me.  The author of the prayer is Rabbi Naomi Levy.

This little guy soiled more blankets and wraps than any other baby!  I think we went through three blankets before I even snapped one picture!  It’s a good thing he was so darn cute :)

I knew this family had been waiting a long to time get a portrait sessions, so I was so excited to meet up with them!  They are such a sweet family and little Mr. B is the happiest little guy every!

I have been looking forward to Andrew & Melissa’s wedding ever since their engagement session in Cape May last year.  They are both such genuinely nice people and so fun to hang out with.  Their wedding was absolutely perfect . . . in part because of the excellent wedding vendors they hired.  Hanna, of Beke Beau, did their make-up and seriously came along for the majority of the day, touching up the girls’ make up.  Their wedding coordinator, Colleen Walther, kept everything running smoothly.  And I can’t wait to see their wedding video by Tangerine Media Group!

The reception was at the Union League and it looked spectacular!

The band, Chico’s Vibe, had everyone up and dancing all night long!

I’ve been documenting this little beauty since she was about 18 months old and I have loved watching her grow!  The first session was when she was a super shy 18 month old and the hardest part was trying to get her away from her Mama.  This last time, our biggest challenge was to try to get her to stop hamming it up for the camera!  My how she has changed! :)
