I met up with this awesome couple the other night for a portrait session down at the beach.  They introduced me to an awesome location and I can’t wait to go back again!  Thanks guys!

Congratulations again on your wedding this weekend!   I wish you all the best!

I met up with my little brother and sister-in-law the other night to get some maternity photos done.  Beth is almost 36 weeks along and looks great!  She’s also due eight days before me (also with a boy), so our family is super excited.

Here’s a lot more images than I typically show on a blog post, but come on, she’s my sister-in-law!

Laura has been an amazing source of referrals over the last year so I was really excited about shooting her wedding this weekend.  And it was nothing short of amazing.  The weather was perfect, Laura and Dan looked gorgeous and everything went off without a hitch.

I have to send a HUGE thank you to Carina of Remember This Day Events who did a phenomenal job keeping the day running smoothly.   And another HUGE thank you to Beth of Elizabeth Crook Photography who second shot with me for the day.  You guys were awesome!!!

A toast before leaving the house.

I get the prettiest brides.  Ever.

My grooms aren’t too shabby either. ;)

Off to the reception at the beautiful Radisson Plaza Warwick Hotel!

The Jack Faulkner Orchestra had the dance floor packed from the first song.  It was insane on the dance floor pretty much all night.

They had a yummy candy bar that Carina couldn’t even get set up before people were trying to get at it!  This shot cracks me up because the adults are digging in while the kids patiently waiting in line.

I thought this one was so sweet.  They had the band play Laura’s parent’s first dance song.

The Nacrelli kids may give their parents a run for their money, but boy, are they cute!  Meet the newest members of the family,  four month old twins, Miss C and Mr C.

And their twin four year old sisters, the lovely Miss R’s.  I love this shot of them.

We attempted a group shot.  Three out of four ain’t bad, right?

After shooting a wedding the day before, I woke up bright and early to meet up with Kim and Brian for their engagement session.  It was a gorgeous day and we headed to Ridley Creek State Park.

I think this one is my favorite.

Then we headed back to their house where Brian has built an amazing waterfall in their back yard.  Of course, we had to get their two cute pups in the act too.

It was great meeting you guys!  Can’t wait till your wedding! :)

I had been looking forward to Mike and Kathy’s wedding ever since we met up for their engagement session a few months ago.  They are such a loving couple and truly some of the nicest people you could possibly meet.

Kathy got ready at the Doylestown Inn and we got some great shots there.

I love the look on Kathy’s face as she emerges from the bathroom in all her wedded glory.

Kathy’s mom was trying so hard not to cry.

The ceremony and reception were held at the gorgeous Mercer Museum.

Catering was by Memorable Affairs and it was so yummy!

And look at this!  I even got my own place card.  :)     I love it when couples do this because it means I’m guaranteed a place to sit during dinner and more importantly, it guarantees that I will be served when the guests.  Usually I am served last and by the time my meal comes, the bride and groom are finished and ready to dance.  So I only get to scarf down a few bites and I’ve got to get back to work!  So, thanks a million, Kathy & Mike.

The cake not only looked delicious, but it tasted great too.  I love the looks on their faces.  The catering manager told me that it was the first time she’d ever seen a couple eat the entire piece of cake they cut.

Onto the dancing!

Thanks again guys.  I wish you all the best of luck with your move to Maryland!

My Belated Announcement

July 12, 2009

So I just realized this weekend that I never made a formal announcement on my blog about this, but I’m PREGNANT!  Feels weird announcing it now since I’m already 33 weeks pregnant, but I am.  :)

We’re having a little boy this time around and Molly understands about as much as can be expected of a 22 month old.   She is very excited about babies and loves to get all the babies clothes out and carry them around.

My wonderful husband took me to Innerview Ultrasound to get a 3d/4d ultrasound done and it was soooooo neat!  Here is one of the images from baby boy’s first portrait session.

What does this mean for you?  Well, I’m photographing my last wedding next weekend (can’t wait Laura & Dan!) and then I’m done with weddings until October.  I will still be accepting a limited number of portrait sessions through the month of August though.

And since I can’t show favoritism, I’ll also post a picture of Molly from the 4th of July.
